GES Leases 856,000 SQ. FT. - Las Vegas, NV

After years of planning, Majestic recently broke ground on an 856,000-sq. ft. facility in Las Vegas, NV, for GES Exposition Services, Inc. marking the first phase of construction in Beltway Business Park, a 400-acre commercial development located at I-215 and Decatur Blvd.

The largest tradeshow and event marketing company in North America, GES Exposition Services specializes in exhibition planning and management. The company selected Beltway Business Park because of its proximity to major thoroughfares and to the world famous Las Vegas Strip-the site of many trade shows, special events, exhibitions and conventions.

GES clients include major corporations and many of the world’s largest trade shows-including the Consumer Electronic Show, the PGA Show, and the National Association of Broadcasters. Underscoring its commitment to the Las Vegas marketplace, GES signed a 12-year lease at the Beltway Business Park, which will be developed by Majestic Realty Co. in partnership with Thomas & Mack Development Group, Inc.

“Majestic is pleased to partner with Thomas & Mack on this project, which is our biggest development deal in the Las Vegas marketplace and one of the region’s largest lease transactions ever,” said Ed Roski, Jr., president and CEO of Majestic Realty. “In many ways, Thomas & Mack is a perfect partner for Majestic, because our family-owned businesses collectively have more than 100 years of development experience in Las Vegas and throughout the United States.”

The GES property is scheduled for completion in December, at which time the company will consolidate its Las Vegas operations into the new location.

Rod Martin, vice president and development partner of Majestic stated that this project highlights the continued growth of the Las Vegas market. Like GES, many of our tenants are looking for warehousing, manufacturing or distribution facilities that will enable them to serve multiple markets on the West Coast. Our master-planned business parks-like Beltway-offer access to a major international airport, and interstate highways, all of which make Las Vegas an important geographic center for our tenants.

Beltway Business Park is a multi-use business park planned for additional office and industrial development use. For information about additional sites in the first phase of development, contact Rod Martin at (702) 896-5564.
