Majestic Realty Co. was named the "Top Commercial Real Estate Developer" in Los Angeles
by the Los Angeles Business Journal. More than 700 business and community leaders
attended the event, where Majestic president and CEO Edward P. Roski, Jr. and 13
individuals were honored with an Industry Leadership Award. Matt Toledo, publisher
of the weekly business newspaper, said the Hall of Fame luncheon salutes special
Angelinos and their companies who have become leaders in their respective industries.
Silverton Casino General Manager Honored -
Las Vegas, NV
Craig Cavileer, executive vice president and general manager of Silverton Hotel &
Casino in Las Vegas, NV, was recently honored by In Business Las Vegas as one of
the city's "Top Business People Under 40."
Cavileer oversees the Silverton and its staff of more than 750 for
owner, Edward P. Roski, Jr. With Cavileer's focus on direct mail and advertising
campaigns, the Silverton has posted double-digit revenue increases in recent
months. Under his direction, the Silverton also struck a recent deal to bring
the first Kampgrounds of America (KOA) franchise to Las Vegas, an agreement that
gave the RV Park access to a database of more than 3.5 million RV travelers.
Pacific Palms Conference Resort -
City of Industry, CA
Pacific Palms Conference Resort is nearing the completion of an exciting $25 million
renovation project. By early July, the Resort will unveil an all new lobby and guest
reception area and an additional 45,000-sq. ft. of meeting space with state-of-the-
art technology and a full service business center. Renovation of guestrooms is
underway with the top floors of the Resort to be completed by the end of May. These
exciting changes coupled with a new guest pool, the recently remodeled driving range
and last year's opening of Cima restaurant are positioning Pacific Palms as one of
Southern California's premier destinations for both conferences and
recreation.

In March, the NAIOP Southern Nevada Chapter held its 2002 Spotlight Awards. This
awards program encourages and recognizes distinguished projects by developers in
Southern Nevada. Majestic Realty Co.'s Sunset Parkway Business Center was awarded
a Merit Award Certificate for large industrial projects and Majestic was named as
the year's Trendsetter Firm presented in recognition of the firm's outstanding
service to the industry and community, professionalism, integrity and overall
impact on the commercial real estate industry. |
