David A. Wheeler Named President of Majestic Realty Co.

City of Industry, CA - (May 8, 2002) - Majestic Realty Co., one of the nation's leading industrial and commercial real estate developers has appointed David A. Wheeler to the position of president, effective immediately.

This appointment is part of an on-going strategic plan for the continued expansion of the company with offices in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Denver and Las Vegas.

In taking over the responsibilities of the operations, Wheeler succeeds Edward P. Roski, Jr. who will continue to lead the company as chairman and chief executive officer.

In announcing the promotion, Roski cited the changes in the real estate market in general and the industrial market in particular as creating unparalleled opportunities for the company.

"Dave's combination of leadership, experience and organizational skills will help drive the continued growth of Majestic as we look ahead," stated Roski. "Dave and I have worked very closely at Majestic for over twenty five years and I look forward to his expanded role."

Wheeler has been instrumental in the development of several of Majestic's master planned business parks throughout Southern California and other key markets across the United States. In recent years, Wheeler led the team that developed the thriving 500+acres Majestic Spectrum and Spectrum South in Chino. He also directed the efforts to expand Majestic's presence in the Colorado and Texas markets. Joining the company in 1977 and most recently serving as executive vice president, Wheeler is also a member of the company's board of directors.

Wheeler, 47, and his wife Mae have two sons and reside in Newport Beach, CA. A graduate of USC, Wheeler also plays an active role in many community and charitable organizations.

Founded in 1948 by the late Edward P. Roski, Sr., Majestic Realty Co. is one of the nation's oldest and largest privately held real estate firms, with an office, retail and industrial portfolio totaling more than 50 million square feet. The Southern California-based company is a diversified real estate developer specializing in the planning and development of premier master-planned business parks.
